Acrylic on canvas, of my friend Harriet. I added tiny leaves made out of larger skeleton leaves, and cut up clear sequins to the leaves, to make them glisten in the light. Also her earring has a gem stuck up, which also glistens in the light. 15/07/09

Acrylic on canvas. This is one of those moments when I am looking through a free beauty magazine that I picked up, and a photo jumped out at me, which I just had to re-create in paints! I absolutely love the eye make up on this picture, bright shocking pink eyeshadow, with hints of purple and red; and the thick black mascara and eyeliner, making the eyes grab your attention from across the room! 20/06/09

An A4 sized acrylic on canvas. I have named this pop art portrait 60s Chick, as her hair, eyes and pale skin remind me of the fashion of the 60s. I was inspired to paint this portrait back along, when I saw this image advertising fashion. I started this portrait about a year ago, but only recently was re-inspired to finish it. I find the finished result to be very striking, and her eyes really stare at you! 14/04/09

Acrylic on canvas of Take That singer, Mark Owen. Mark was born in 1972 in Oldham in Lancashire, and has enjoyed success with Take That as well as a solo career. Recently he took the lead locals on their tracks Shine and Up All Night. 14/04/09

For Sale! Acrylic on a postcard size canvas of Marilyn Monroe. The sequins show up very well on this image, although they are infact clear sequins that only glisten in the light, to give Marilyn a touch of glamour! I had actually started this painting ages ago, around the same time I painted the Elvis portrait, but I have only just managed to finish Marilyn's portrait. 05/02/08
