Couples want to make their wedding, their most special day of their life. After months of preparation and organising towards the big day, it will probably feel like it's all over in a flash! Couples have their wedding photographs and photo album to look forward to, but does it really have to end there?
Not at all! Lucy offers you a way of looking forward to one more special thing.. your very own wedding painting to hang on the wall. With prices starting from £20, it makes it very affordable for everyone.
At weddings, the bride and groom look stunning. The groom is looking very smart in a suit, tie and waistcoat. The bride has had her hair especially styled and make up applied for the big day. The bride's accessories; tiara, veil and jewellery, these are all things that can be picked out with emphasis and gems on the painting. But of course not forgetting her gorgeous wedding bridal gown, which may have delicate embroidery sewn to the bocide.
How to go about commissioning a Wedding portrait.
Quite simple! Once you have your wedding photographs back from your photographer, simply choose one or two of your favourite images, which can be emailed to Lucy to paint. Lucy is a portrait artist, so please consider photos which are close up of the bride and groom.
How much would a wedding portrait be?
Prices increase with the size of the portrait. All paintings will be in acrylic on canvas, unless otherwise requested. The smallest size portrait will be approx. 14cm x 17cm and this will be £20. An A4 sized canvas will be around £35, and any bigger will be £40 and above. Lucy will give you a quote once she has seen the desired photograph to paint from (due to complexity), and also what size you would like.
Bridemaids, The Best Man, Ushers, Flower Girls...?
If you would like to give your bridesmaids, best man, ushers, etc. a gift, why not give them their very own self portrait? Or perhaps you are going to be, or have been a bridesmaid, and would like to have a portrait painted to remind you of such a lovely day? Not a problem at all! Please feel free to ask Lucy about your thoughts and ideas.
A guest looking for a unique gift?
Look no further! You as the guest will choose what size canvas you would like to give the couple as their wedding gift, then pay Lucy the full price upfront. Lucy will then send you a special card for you to give the couple on their wedding day, to let them know they will receive their very own wedding portrait. They will be excited to have a wedding gift to look forward to.
